YOUR SKY is just a HOLE !!!

I was watching Bruce Lee Video yesterday where he said you should be like water. Water only flows and took the shape of a container. If we pour it in glass, it takes shape of the glass and the same in case of other.

Interestingly, as per my understanding, he wanted to say, flow with time and take shape whenever you face any challenge and then next challenge and next. Life is full of challenges.

I also have seen people those who are not popular but they say a wonderful thing. But we ignore it. The same thing if somebody who is popular says we listen to it and try to implement. But I am not popular.

So we can say we follow our leaders because we believe in them. We try to imitate our leaders. Actually, which we should not do because everyone is unique in this world. But, though, we watch our leaders.

Why we are talking about this?

We as a leader should do the same thing which we are expecting from our team. Sometimes we leverage our position.

The situation is if we are happy with Candlelight then why we should install LED light? Are you agreeing with this or not? Can we live our life with Candlelight? Not if we are in this era.

Sometimes we form our group, which is called a group of like-minded. Wherever we will go, we will go with that group. So we are like “a frog of the Well”. We refer a Frog In the Well to a person who feels fully contented with the environment in which he is. ( Since a frog who has not ventured out of the well to see how vast the outer world thinks that the round walls of the well are the entire world.) We make a well with our group and feel that this is our world.

We don’t want to come out from that group because the thing is running well with that group. They should understand that everything is running good but can be much better. If you shuffle your people it change the overall perspective of any project.

Life is full of changes. If we do not change or adapt, all will leave behind. Our group should be a good mix of young and old people.

Why we do not come out from our group?

We do not want to take the risk. We are looking to good, but we do not want to be better. Because this may lead to a sleepless night. Because whenever you make changes it takes time to adjust. You don’t have a habit of listing NO. We should understand the world is changing fast, do you think your old leader can catch that. I would say YES, but how?

Have you seen your father since he left everything on you when he gets old? But he is always there to help you. This way we grow as a mature person.

When you feel that you’re surrounded by people full of YES to you. Then you should leave that group.

As a leader, we have to listen to youth. Youth is aggressive, but this is the future you have to understand it. We should not teach them, we should guide them.

We as a leader should learn from them and change yourself. Your mind should be very open enough to accept everything.

Conclusion

I have very little experience in IT field, I still believe I am weak in my leadership skills. In this race, we always need youth help to support us. Yes, this is a race if you are not in top 3 you are losing the race. Keep your ego aside that I have 20 -30 years of experience, will they teach us? YES life is full of learning.

Please make sure there are lots of people behind you, all are not leaders and they cannot be. They are looking at you. If you always want to hear YES from them then I am sure you are …

Leaders have been hired to live and work in the future. You do not have to reveal next quarter, but next 3 years.
